Honestly, I hadn't understood exhibitionism up until this point. There is a tangible amount of sexual thrill involved but more than that, it is about being completely free, in your true state for others to see, without caring. Atleast that's what I understand till now. And kudos to you, you helped me understand the concept. Great writing, totally unrushed plot, you took your own sweet time to let it develop. Really enjoyed reading this.

To add to the discussion in comments, I completely understand the mindset of the story.

I would like to call myself naturist, but I get to be naked outside my room maybe some 80 hours a year. It just never seems to be the right circumstances, but it also seems silly and needles to seek special nude beaches or resorts.

1) I have large family that mostly is set a bit different, while we all are quite casual about nudity, it is mostly kept strictly within functional limits. Swimsuits are optional and mostly used only if we have guests, for example, but just walking around nude without any good reason is frowned upon.

2) I live in a cold place where weather forecasts for anything over 72 hours are completely futile exercise. Here, we have on average a dozen days a year with +24 degrees Celsius (75 F) or over at afternoon, and you will never guess in advance when those will happen between May and September including. So opportunities to really comfortably dicht clothing are few and far between.

3) Even if I happen alone in the country house, there always that chance of unforeseen events, visitors, neighbours, hikers or rafters passing by. Not that I would feel any much embarrassment to be seen naked. If I happen to be in the river, and, say, group of 20 canoes pass by, I won't run out, but standing up on the shore like that feels wrong. I'm always way too much worried about the feelings of others (yes I'm a male), so if I can't justify why I'm naked I rather wouldn't, and yes, just to be naked isn't an acceptable reason.
