Hmm, well, after reading this author's comments, that this story is an older story that was written when she was younger, I suppose I can forgive her for the overall tameness of the tale. Overall, I feel the story took a little long to get to the "action," but then, the story isn't THAT long overall, so the prelude to the action wasn't unbearable. HOWEVER, I am STILL waiting for this author to cut loose and write the tale that seems to be hinted-at in these early tales...and her name.
