That was a very nice short story. It was told in a compact and believable style.

"I never did feel the same way about my husband since then and when we made love, well, lets just say, I wasn't screaming his name in my head."

So she destroyed her marriage and chose a life of wanting for something she would never have. In doing so, she took her husband as her hostage in a loveless union. What a horrible, selfish bitch.
