Rubbish

You have no clue how a D/s relationship works in the real world. Being dominant is no excuse for being lazy and manipulative. Seriously, that's crap. One star from me...

Actually....

This IS how FLR's work. Stop reading chastity stories if you don't like them. Great work Mode, hope there's more!

That may be how some FLRs work, but you are wrong to imply they all work this way. My experience is that most RL bdsm relationships-including femdom-have a strong basis in respect. That is if there is an actual relationship. Professional domes being paid to fulfill fantasies and darker desires aren't about relationships. The vast majority of femdom stories posted on Lit seem to be cathartic, brain enema fantasy. They are also wildly insulting to the females who are allegedly the focus of the male worship. This smells of both. However, it will meet the needs of a certain sub-population.

First up, yes, any successful relationship - BDSM or otherwise - requires mutual respect. It isn't just about whatever respect the submissive has for the dominant, it also requires a similar amount of respect the dominant has for the submissive. You know that whole 'safe, sane and consensual' thing? You know the whole safe word thing? This is important: it's one of the signs that the submissive trusts the dominant and that the dominant is respectful enough to acknowledge what it means.

Yes, what's posted on Lit is fantasy. That is, rather, the point. The problem is that most of the people who post on Lit in BDSM don't play the games on any regular basis, evident enough from the posting. And that's fine - it's quite possible to enjoy reading on Lit because despite the fact it is 'cathartic, brain enema fantasy' (and, let's be honest, it is), it's also interesting to see what other people come up with and it does provide ideas for our own fun and games. And, to be fair, well written Lit can be fun even if the material is outside the comfort zones that my mistress or I would be personally comfortable doing.

The one thing that does piss me off most, though, is the whole denigration aspect that people writing about BDSM seem to think should be there. This story is pretty good at not falling into it but the usual 'worthless worm' type meme, or the 'not worthy'... it's actually very dangerous - far more so than almost any of the physical acts described, because the subset of people who genuinely get off on being verbally abused is much smaller than everyone seems to think and it does have damaging consequences, because it ends up with people actually believing those things, and it undermines whatever respect a person has for themselves and for those around them.

As for whether this story is D/s, it clearly is. She's dominant, he's subm-- no, he's a doormat with no agency or thinking, or self respect. Submissive doesn't mean slave. It means someone who *chooses* to submit, not someone who feels obliged to. It's the greatest gift a submissive can give a dominant and it should be treated as such.

I love it

I see a bunch of reviews, some seem negative, but they're too long to read, so I don't care. I love this story and I love its vibe. I also love a chastity/femdom story that doesn't involve cuckolding or male ass play - great work!

Great story

No one said this is real life? If you don't like the fiction don't read it...don't get why so many negative comments. Great story!
