I enjoyed the story. More so since it reminded me of a plane trip I took to Europe many years ago.

This is one of your early works. I've read plenty of your stories to know you can write well. You're a better writer than you were 18 years ago. So, I'm not going to point out any of your errors. I liked how you ended the story, leaving the rest up to the imagination. I think Julie scans the people at the station, checking the ones that are by themselves. When they go to a seat with no one in it, she butts in. She enjoys her time on the train, only to pick a different person on the next trip. I don't think she's picky about gender. -- Jenny
