I find it amazing that the son can be so self-assured, self-xconfident, and sensitive to his mother's needs/wants that he can accept her actions at the frat party. Likewise, I find it amazing that the mother has no concerns about how much she could possibly hurt/destroy her son's self image or his opinion/feeling for her. I have probably over thought this story.
