The anglicized form genie is a borrowing of the French génie, from the Latin genius, a guardian spirit of people and places in Roman religion. It first appeared[6] in 18th-century translations of the Thousand and One Nights from the French
a Genie is an islamic supernatural creature in the koran. and it appears to mean 'hidden'.....
interesting mixing Islamic and pre-religion supernatural beings with christianity
Thanks for the quick follow up. It looks like the romance will stick.
I like that you are putting a plot in the story. The combination romance and a real story (like yours) is my favorite. Keep up the good work!
(btw i like it that the chapters are regulary posted, instead of unknowingly waiting)
I stumbled upon this story and I couldn't be more delighted! The story of Mike and Melody has sucked me in and kept me enthralled! Your story line is so realistically fantastical, and a real joy to read! I love the character depth you've created, I feel as if I'm reading about a really good group of people I would be overjoyed to know in real life. You're writing style is easy to follow and I often forgot I was reading a fictional story! Bravo!
All the feedback I've received on this series, positive, negative, or otherwise, has been truly overwhelming. Nothing has made me happier than seeing all of the readers of my work find the same connection to the characters and story that I have had in writing about them. I am especially pleased that the notion of a "realistic fantasy story" is being enjoyed, as this was one of my biggest goals when I was inspired to begin writing this series. Thank you all once again!
The next chapter is submitted, just waiting for approval. Hopefully, it will be up in the next day or two.
Getting chills as I reached the end of this installment. Thanks for this outstanding submission.
