about these characters, who they were, how they met, what happened to them. Your tale was a perfect glimpse into a tiny bit of their lives. I could imagine myself and what I'd do in that situation. (And now I'm smiling and anticipating the next few minutes!)

This is a marvelous little romance, but it lacks a good introduction to the characters, and its use of the present tense is a drawback. However, the descriptive qualities of the story and the wonderful relationship of the couple overcomes all of that. This is a warm, sweet, tender love story, a joy to read.
