I have recently begun work on a sequel to this story. It may take a while, but I'll plst it as soon as I can.

Apocaliptic Lovers is an excellent sci-fi adventure, with excellent characters and a thrilling plot, intricately interwoven with marvelous love scenes. Superior story telling all the way.

First of all, excellent work. Your story sounds like what would happen if Apophis, another asteroid is determined to hit Earth. In real life, Apophis is or was determined by NASA to hit us in 2029 or 2032, and that it would be a good idea to be prepared for this by having a buttload of food, water, medical supplies, weapons and ammo, auxillary power, Self powered radios, Self powered LED lights, (Batteries will not be around after a event of this nature were to take place in real life.) all placed in Faraday Cages in case of a EMP related event, a buttload of military grade glowsticks, all yellow, green and white, all manner of spare parts. It would be a excellent idea to learn really useful skills that would be useful in and after a event of this nature has taken place. Due to human nature, some of what was stated here, like the riots, worse, it is highly recommended that when you prepare to handle something like what is written here, you are NOT to let anyone know what you are doing or they'll come looking for you, to take you out and steal what you have. This will more than likely include family, except those you know you can trust, as may be implied on your work here. You have done excellent work on this fictional tale, which should inspire people to do what is right, should a real life disaster of the magnitude you have discribed were to take place. You may find more information online about emergency preparedness. Print all of it and keep it handy.
