Aquata Cove Ch. 01

Adam turned around, looking in every direction. He felt a small flurry on his side, but saw noting when he turned himself. He swam forward a little until his felt Merrick's arms around him. He chuckled – a few bubbles flying from his mouth – as he felt Merrick's lips push onto his cheek from behind. He legs paddled a little, his foot brushing against a scaly, somewhat slimy surface.

Merrick loomed around from behind Adam, putting his head up to Adam's chest, his hand on his six-pack tummy. Adam wrapped his arm around Merrick's waist, and his other hand moved, and felt along the riddled, semi-bumpy surface that used to be Merrick's legs. He turned his head to the side, looking at that long, beautiful, frilly, shimmering tail, ending with an elegant, wide, white fin, wavering as it gently felt the motion of the water. Where Merrick's ears were, there are several broad, fin-like slabs on both sides of his head, slowly exhaling an unseen flow of water, along with a subtle fin line along the upper side of his forearms, and a strange, wide focus of thin scales on his tender chest and upper back. Even his skin glimmered subtly with a very slight array of a thin, scale-like layer, like that of a large koi fish.

Merrick gave Adam's chest a nuzzle and kiss before taking his hand, and pulling him towards under the waterfall. Adam grinned as their hands parted, and he began to swim after Merrick, looking how that strong, powerful fish tail undulated with his body like a dolphin. Adam is an good swimmer, but he can never keep up with Merrick.

Adam paddled and moved in the water, swimming into the blue-white storm of the cascade's fizz just as that waving fin disappeared into it. He giggled to himself as the infinite cloud of tiny bubbles brushed and tickled his naked body before rising to the surface, behind the waterfall. His eyes spotted the glint of aqua before his lover came right up to him, and gently moved them into the dark cove.

As they swam, the temperature of the water started to change. At the waterfall, the grotto was refreshingly cold. It is true that one's body temperature adjusts to the coolness of water when it is submerged in such a space, but as Adam and Merrick made their way in the darkness, the water they were swimming in began to feel... Warm. Adam's muscles began to tingle as the warmth grew as the two males got closer to an orangish-pinkish light at the end of the tunnel.

Within 5 minutes of smoothly sailing through the water, they soon entered a cave with many crystals that had formed on the dark rock that was the cove. The crystals were all glowing a welcoming and kind color of orange and pink light. There are also crystals that had formed under the water, a round basin with a few different bench-like levels along the shore of the rock cave. It was a secluded area; the only way out is through the dark tunnel they had just swam through.

Besides the crystals, there are some thick, plastic casings, containing various items, and then a rustic, wooden chest that held several other things.

Adam swam up to a reclined spot, sighing as he laid back, enjoying the naturally warm water. Merrick glided right up next to him, resting onto his lover, and feeling Adam's arm drape around him.

"You always look so majestic when you're soaked, Merrick." Merrick giggled as he snuggled up to his man.

"I could say the same, but you ALWAYS look fascinating to me." Adam smiled before he turned his head, and looked into those blue eyes. He brought his face closer, and pushed his mouth onto Merrick's. He softly kissed his handsome, beautiful mate.
