Arlene, on the other hand, was a delight, with a highly and imaginatively inventive nature. She is someone I could enjoy being around, even if sex wasn't involved.

This was very well written, and easy to read. The flow continued throughout without getting lumpy or disconnected. Aside from the minor miracle of the amount of friction endured without stopping the action, the whole weekend was wonderfully entertaining.
