I went on (ad nauseum) in my private comment to Annika, so I will spare other readers except to say: Really look at what this writer can do in connecting her narrator to her reader. Amazing!

Wow, congratulations, you have written a story that doesn't make me think "riiight, who would actually say/do/look like that..". One that actually makes me want to leave a comment!

Very erotic, playing with a common fantasy without getting too carried away into mindless, boring stranger sex or overused clichés. It feels very real, and your first-person narrator is a credible one, making the reader wonder whether this actually could have happened to the author. I also like that, being the kind of girl you describe her as, she is a bit intimidated by going to see an X-rated movie, and does NOT reciprocate. It made it more believeable, and it was still just as erotic.

The strongest part is definitely the last paragraph, because it acknowledges that some aspects of sexual experiences can be embellished or idealized when you think back on them. And you can definitely see the narrator's regret in wishing it had been more of an adventure. It's quite well-written, and my favourite sentences are:

'But perhaps this is why the memory burns so bright. It's a moment of my own helplessness. It's a moment of sexual naiveté that I can never have back.'

I wnat to have a moment like that! Well done!

I have never read a story quite like this one. So many ways it could have gone. But, I loved the way it did go and the way it ended.
