All Comments on 'Auction of Promises Ch. 05'

Both characters are intelligent and caring, so why is there unclear communication like this:

"God, stop! Penny, don't, please! I can't take much more. You have to stop now, baby!" He almost whimpered.

Penny stopped, hurt that he didn't like what she was doing. She wondered if she mistook pain or disgust for pleasure. Not sure what to do, she moved away from him, burying her face in the pillow, the tears forming in her eyes."

True he's telling her to stop, but not giving any clear reason. Such miscommunication simply shuts off another line of trust between them, since she'll now associate his refusal with a sexual act thereby making oral sex an issue of chancy usage instead of adding it to their pleasent memories. Ok, so they want to wait until they're married, to complete their sexual pleasures, but that doesn't mean that they should unwittingly shut the door on proforming such acts either.

Maybe it's a minor issue to many, but when you're starting out together, it might be better to be clear on their stand on these sexual issues.
