Well done! I found it very refreshing being privileged to a more intellectual perspective of interracial dating. I especially found the character development refreshing as it ventured away from the frequent reliance on Jim Crow stereotypes of Black men in these relationships/situations as undereducated and underemployed and impoverished brutes who live for the opportunity to bed a White woman of any caliber at a moment's notice. While there are men who fit under such an umbrella the protagonist in this story makes clear that there certainly are men, perhaps more, with more socioculturally practical values. And all this is done without sacrificing the erotic nature and general spice of the story.
