I ran your numbers and seeing as I have never taken common core I can't make your numbers work. You state that she started teaching 5th grade when she was 20 and Eric was in her second year class. He is finishing up his first year in college so he is roughly 19. She taught 5th for 5 years and the next 7 she taught lower grades.

OK, 20 when she started plus 12 = 32.

He was 15 years younger = 17.

17-11=6 when he was in the 5th grade, we must be dealing with a prodigy.

First they are on vacation, then they are back in their hometown, but then a sentence later back on vacation. No rhyme or reason for the sex, no understanding of any characters motivation.

You at first have Eric all excited to fuck his former teacher then twice have him walking out without saying anything. Eric sounds like a real asshole, and I just didn’t believe it.
