5 Star vote, but curious how this story is going to advance. The daughter seems to be caught in a vicious place due to the incident(s). and her mother not really in a place to comfort her and resolve the situation.

However, both of the females in this story are showing weaknesses, the mother gambles and the daughter accepts easy fixes to her problems. The husband is also weak by accepting a the choices offered by his daughter and his wife. Then running away. Very good characters developed for this story.
