Brittany stared at the book in front of her. "Thunder in the Caribbean" had an embossed front cover partially depicting a girl in a bikini from her breasts to her knees with a badge pinned to one side of the bikini bottom. In her left hand, she was holding an automatic handgun down to her side. In the background was a rendering of a catamaran powerboat sitting in a lagoon.
"Have you read any of it?" Brittany asked as she signed the inside page of the book.
"Just the first two chapters." He replied. "It's awfully hard to put down once you start reading it."
Stuffing her copies of the documents into the attaché, Brittany shook hands with the service manager and proceeded back to the boat. Changing her clothes below deck, she slipped into a white bikini, before firing up the twin Mercruiser engines. The four six-inch exhaust pipes sounded like thunder as the powerful engines idled. Two of the service technicians hurried over to untie the mooring lines, both smiling as they checked out Brittany in her skimpy bikini.
Brittany eased the Nor-Tech powerboat away from the dock and out into the marina's open water. Once out of the idle zone, she eased the throttle levers forward. The catamaran responded immediately, instantly planing out on top of the water. On the open sea, Brittany pushed both throttles to half speed. The speedometer hit sixty miles per hour and kept climbing. Britt eased the throttles back slightly, letting the thirty-six foot powerboat cruise along while she enjoyed the scenery off the portside.
