Nice story. I can imagine robots getting to this point in the not too distant future.

Interesting idea

Sounds like the boys had fun.

Yet even so, I can't help but harken to images of West World, Blade Runner, or Robot Carnival, or even (musically) The Alan Parsons Project, "I, Robot." What is the demarcation for sentience? It wasn't entirely clear if the protocols were very well delineated -- perhaps something like Asimov's Three Laws? -- but there were hints too that the snow bunnies made choices. And what did they do when full-humans were away? Did they play together or sleep and have android dreams until awakened to attend the next batch of hedonistic visitors?

The tale and the writing were very well done, and for me, very provocative. Fascinating social implications. I'm sure I wouldn't feel comfortable actually living it.

Thanks for sharing! 5* So, any chance of more Kimber tales? Hint hint?

Sure, I'll answer

TJSkywind:

The Bioroid stories are meant mostly as light-hearted excuses to play around with girls with various cute furry animal ears and such. Since this world already accepts the bioroids for what they are (realistic but subservient), most of the stories ignore those sorts of questions entirely. For this series I'm emphasizing fun over technobabble, individual peoples' stories over world building. A small number do (or will) touch upon those issues to varying extents, since the format allows for many different types of stories. The first one (Nyanny) was front-loaded with some exposition in this regard.

Kimber is something I would like to go back to, yes. There are some half-formed ideas for a sequel. Other things will come first.

Very hot, very interesting story. Of course, there were more potential things that could have been done with the girls. Well, maybe in another story.
