All Comments on 'Bill and Kate Conclusion'

of an ongoing story. I wanted to bring it to a conclusion. With the feelings Bill had for Kate, it didn't make sense for them to go on in limbo forever. However, I purposely wrote the story with a gap in time between Bill resolving his conflict and where the story ends. In a number of ways, the story reflects on the love affair I have with my wife, and, as such, I am in love with Kate as well. I've left myself the opportunity to go back and fill in that gap at a later date should I wish.

One of the best stories I've ever read on this site. There was one thing. To me Bill seemed older than 35. Perhaps his hesitation to commit to Kate, his holing up alone in the woods, his L.L. Bean style of dress, all made me think of him being at least 45. Even with that impression, this is still a first rate story.

I had a lot of fun writing this one. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Having everyone in Kate's life okay with this didn't feel quite right. Surely some self-righteous relative would object.

This is the first day I have seen any of your stories and I like all of them I have read. I commented in your first chapter than I had ratlins with my nieces friends and I am in one now with an old friend of hers so I really enjoyed this story. Of course me and her weren't drawn to each other like Bill and Kate but that doesn't mean we won't grow to love each other.

Best one ever. I'm still in love with the character personalities. All in all. The story is perfection.

The good is the tension Bill has struggling with what is the right thing to do, and the character of Kate so very grown up and sure of what she wants.

The not quite is that everyone else is on board with it and Bill is the only one with any doubts, hard to imagine any group all in agreement like that.

Still a very good read.

I can only hope the happiness of the three Bill & Kate sagas can remain with me

for a while.
