but was the story cut off in error? why did it end so abruptly?

The author writes as if he - and his audience - were 15 year old boys. Fine. It is just that there was no warning label such as "THIS STORY IS BONE STUPID" although the Table of Contents did cut down the total time wasted

The writing is pedestrian, to say the least - and the story line, together with the character development (there wasn't any) - start over, pal, start over

Chapter 1 details Billie physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, familially, morally, situationally, dispositionally, environmentally, publicly and privately.

How much more "character development" do you expect?
