I never understand stand why writers in this category don't have their MC react with what anyone in that situation would, either plan to steal their phones are retaliate and assault them, with pro.uses of worse. But they don't. The reaction is to automatically give up and be blackmailed.

Nice start. I would have liked to have some of the 'fuckboy' dialogue, maybe a flashback scene. Still, this was a great start.

The only way to respond to blackmail (without getting into deeper trouble) is to reveal the secret, or to let them do what they will with the secret.
