The story was well written, but, I could not relate to this pair,

I thought this was very very VERY well-done, and displayed incredible skill with the language and the genre. I hope to see more from this author and a Chapter Two (at the least) for these characters, perhaps with Laney knowingly getting herself pregnant to drive the final nail into the coffin of her sister's marriage. More, please!!!
