"But..."

With a finger on her lips, he said, "El? Close 'em."

With a smile on her face, she nodded and quickly complied.

Elise felt him come up close and shivered a bit. The thoughts flooding her mind were not helping the tingling she felt in between her legs. What Brian was doing to her was something she never imagined would ever happen. She felt his strong arms encircling her and took in a quick breath thinking about what was going to happen next. She was mildly disappointed when he moved up and kissed her on her forehead; but the contact still sent shivers down her spine.

Brian quickly broke off contact, his "iron will" was slowly losing out to his lust for her. But he was thankfully able to subdue his feelings for her. Elise had a pensive look on her, but was blushing and smiling like she had just won the lottery. Right as he was going to get close, she squealed in delight and leapt on him resuming her deathgrip from before.

"Uhh, El? I need to get back to it. I'm helping this nice old lady with her oil change and I'm sure she's wondering where I've been..."

Elise gleefully yelled out, "No!" with a smile that was more than contagious. He laughed and carried her with her body still attached to him trying to make it back to the front of Joe's. Thankfully Joe came out and said, "Look son, you've never been one to take a sick day and by the looks of things you need to. Get outta here with your lady and make up for Christ's sake."

"Uhh are you-"

"Now, Brian. Don't make me haul your ass out there myself."

Once Joe told you to do something, you did it. Nine times out of ten he was right and you'd thank him later; and Brian wasn't one to not take hold of a good thing being given.

With a smirk, Brian yelled out, "Yes sir!," which elicited giggles from his female companion. He carefully got her in his arms and carried her over to her Toyota Corolla; all the while hearing her giggling and squealing about how this would be the first of many times he'd be carrying her around.

As they made it to her car, she was still hesitant to let go. "Bri? Are you sure you're coming home?"

He pulled away from her and put his face as close as possible to hers. She took in a quick breath and got wide eyed. "El, this is what I've wanted from you for so long. And now that I have it, I'm not letting you or this go. Trust me."

Elise blushed and quickly looked down at her feet. She brought her face up and asked with pleading eyes, "Do I get a kiss to hold me over for the ride home? Pretty please?"

Brian smirked a little bit and said, "Oh I dunno, ask me nicely?"

Her defiant look came back tenfold and he laughed as she pouted. She was adorable. "Alright, alright! C'mere, El."

With a squeal she hugged him and nuzzled into his neck and gave it a quick kiss. As they separated, she closed her eyes again waiting. He kissed her on the forehead and she was disappointed yet again. "Bri!"

"El? You never specified where you wanted your kiss. Let's take things slow, okay? No rush. We got time. I got the day off remember?"

He grabbed her hands and she blushed yet again. "I'll see you there, don't worry."

She strapped in and waited for Brian to pull up behind her in his Honda Accord. They made good time and they pretty much raced to the door trying to see who'd get in first. Elise won that one, but only by a little bit. As Brian made his way in, she tackled him to the ground and assaulted him with kisses all across his face while straddling his lap. All he could hear was, "Take this! And that!," along with her giggling.

As much as he wanted to retaliate, he let her continue her onslaught. It was the least he could do for teasing her as much as he did. She eventually tired out and lay across his chest with a smile. He played with her hair with his right hand, while his left traced the skin on her back. This drew out a small moan out of Elise and she blushed and tried to hide her face.

"El? C'mon, get outta there-"

She playfully stuck her tongue out and went back into "hiding." As much as he tried to get her out of her "shell," she just yelled, "No!" and adorably tried to hide her blushing face.

"El? C'mere, I wanna hold you properly...Don't make me use force-"

Her mouth was agape, "You wouldn't dare!"

"Oh yes, I would!"

Elise tried to get off his lap but was held victim by him tickling her sides and their laughs filled the small apartment. Brian finally let up with his tickle attack and she was breathless on top of him.

"Bri?"

"Hmm?"

"I'm so glad you're back...I've missed you..."

"Me too, El. Me too."

They held each other for what felt like hours but it had only been thirty minutes. Elise looked at the clock and saw that it was nearly twelve. She heard Brian's stomach gurgle with hunger and she smirked at him.

"Hey, I only had a bagel for breakfast. Don't judge me."

"Aww, poor baby! Here, why don't you let me make us some lunch while you get cleaned up?"

Brian looked down and nodded. His dirty work clothes wouldn't do him any good. Better to get into something more comfortable, especially after what had happened and what may happen.

He took as quick a shower as he could and put on some shorts. Before he could put on a shirt, he heard Elise call for him so he went without it. When she saw him come in, she almost dropped the plate of bacon in her hands. "Uhh, you called?"

Silence.

"Uhh, El? You okay?"

It was like he'd snapped her out of a trance. "Huh? Oh! Sorry, Bri!" She hurried over to the table and put down the plate. Brian saw that she'd cooked omelettes with loads of bacon and some toast.

"I guess this is my proper breakfast, eh?"

"More like brunch, but it'll work right?"

Before Elise could get another word in, Brian was already seated and scarfing down the food. She was hoping he'd like it and judging by how fast he was eating, she was happy he liked it. She was more than happy seeing him in his present state. His broad shoulders and arms looked delicious and his damp hair just added to his attractiveness. It was more than embarrassing that he'd caught her staring, but this was new territory for them both. Unbeknownst to them, feelings were growing and they were both unsure how to react to it all.

After they finished up, Elise and Brian both did the washing up and bumped hips occasionally. Smiles came and went along with some giggles and Elise reflected on this one moment. "This is bliss."

With that one thought she dropped the plate she'd been drying back into the sink and she looked over at Brian and he looked back at her and smiles broke out on their faces. Nothing was said, but the silence spoke volumes. They slowly dropped everything, dried their hands, and made their way over to the living room.

Brian laid out on the couch, Elise was on his lap and her hands were on his chest. His hands were on her back. She was edging closer and closer to his face and right as their lips touched, it was as if they'd put gasoline on fire. What started out as a simple peck turned into something so much more.

Their faces were bonded in ways they'd never imagined, tongues were flailing about in the other's mouths; they were both grinding on one another. Elise was wet beyond all belief and even more so after feeling how hard Brian was. Eventually, he broke contact to get some air and with a grin asked, "Hey, El? Would you like to go to dinner with me?"

Elise broke out in a grin of her own and nodded. She took his hands, placed them back on her back and they resumed sucking face and their heated contact 'til they both ran out of breath again.

"So? Where to, my wonderful man?"

"Hmm...how about the mall? They've got nice places and we can walk around after too."

With a smile, she said, "That sounds great."

But, like all good things, they had to come to an end.

"El, I hate to ruin this lovely moment, but..."

"Hmm? Is everything okay, Bri?"

"Yeah, I'm great...it's just that..."

"What? Is it me?"

"Wha? Oh, God no! I gotta..."

"Gotta??"

"I gotta take a shit..."

Elise's face contorted in a way that worried Brian until she started laughing uncontrollably until she was in tears.

"Wow, this is probably the first time my charm's been beat out by Mother Nature..."

"El, trust me, if I could stay with you I would. But...she's calling."

With a rueful grin, she got up and he made his way to their bathroom.

She sighed, and tried to get a grip on her feelings. This was completely different from her usual encounters with men. None had treated her like the ways that Brian did. He had a look for her exclusively; it let her know and feel that she was the only girl he saw. She was the only one on his mind and she loved every second of it. No one looked at her in that way. With everything going the way it was, they'd definitely moved on from just simple roommates. Their repertoire was going to...no, everything was going to undergo a change. And truthfully, she looked forward to it.

Her reverie was cut short as she heard the door shut and jumped slightly at the noise. She saw Brian walking back putting on a shirt and she couldn't help but pout.

Brian looked at her quizzically and had to ask, "So...no shirt?"

She looked up at him and nodded, "No shirt."

He took it off and he brought her up so he could lay down on the couch. It was her turn to look at him quizzically until he gently grabbed her hand and brought her on top of him. They kissed again, and she propped herself up. Her hands made their way onto his chest and she asked, "Can I?"

"Go for it."

Elise traced her fingers across his chest and abs. Brian could've sworn she was purring. She eventually got tired and lay on his chest. Hearing his heart calmed her like nothing else and she could feel sleep taking ahold of her. Brian eventually heard the light snores of the woman he adored. As much as he wanted to stay awake, he felt Mr. Sandman casting his spell on him and his eyes were closing.

They eventually woke up to the sound of someone fiddling with the lock on their door. And then they heard an audible gasp. "Oh-oh my-"

Elise shook her head a bit and her eyes took a few seconds to register her surroundings. Brian was still trying to get his open, but immediately recognized the voice of their intruder.

"Eli! What're you doing on top of Brian?! What's going on?!! I thought you were gone?!"

By this time, Elise had moved to the right side of the couch looking up at Tamara with a reddening face while Brian was still trying to get his bearings on the left. "We-we weren't..."

"Explain!"

They eventually brought Tamara up to speed and she had a look between annoyance and happiness on her face. "About bloody time..."

"Hmm? Whatchu mean by that sis?"

"I've been rooting for you two for so long! It's about time you realized that you two have a good thing."

Now both Brian and Elise were blushing. They didn't deny anything and Tamara was absolutely thrilled to see her best friend and little brother finally getting together. "Have you two had dinner yet?"

"Uhh, not yet. We fell asleep, but we were planning on going to the shopping center to get some dinner."

"Well, get ready. I'm starving, and you two owe me for making me worry about nothing!"

With grins on their faces, Brian and Elise begrudgingly got up and got ready. It was seven thirty by the time they got there and they all agreed on ramen. Not really a first date, but the two "lovebirds" had a good time with their "intruder." They didn't go the night without hearing jabs about their newfound closeness though.

"Aww, you two are holding hands now? That's so cute!"

Elise was blushing and could only tell her best friend, "Oh my God! Quit it! You're embarrassing him! And me!"

"I can't help it! He's my little brother! It's what older sisters do!"

"Bri! Say something!"

"Uhh...no can do, El. Sis usually gets her way and I've pretty much gotten used to it..."

"See, Eli? He knows what's what!"

They were having a good time walking around the mall and Elise loved the small act of holding hands. It meant so much to feel his hand in hers and to be able to be this close to Brian.

She was thrilled and scared at the same time. It'd been years since her last relationship and with her hectic schedule, it'd be hard to maintain that. But now, she had something real and tangible. She just hoped that she didn't mess things up.

They eventually got back to their apartment at eleven and both were tired from the day's events. "Bri? D'you think you could sleep with me tonight? I just want to be close to you."

"Of course, El. Lemme just grab my pillow and change and I'll be right there."

"Yay! Thanks, baby!"

She immediately blushed and ran straight to her room. Brian just stood there in stunned silence. With a smile, he went to his room and knew he'd found another thing to tease his lovely Elise with. But he loved that she'd called him that.

He quickly changed and waited by their bathroom and sure enough, she made her way over only to gasp in surprise to see him waiting. "C'mon El, let's brush our teeth and head off to bed."

Elise couldn't help but blush again and nodded. They brushed their teeth and she was glad that he didn't make a big deal of her "slip up." She was worried it was too soon, but she had loved calling him that. She followed him to her bed and flipped the light switch. She saw him on the right side and pouted, "Bri! That's my side!"

"Oh? My bad, El."

He moved over and she plopped beside him and snuggled close to him.

After waiting a bit, Elise's curiosity got the best of her. "Are you mad at me?"

"Mad? Why would I be mad?"

"I think I moved a bit fast and called you something that you may not have liked..."

"Called me what?"

She couldn't see his face that well, but she could tell he was smirking.

"Bri! You know what I mean!"

"El, try it again."

"Wha? But-"

"Try me, El. Say it again."

"Baby?"

With a grin, he kissed her on the forehead and she broke out into a smile. He gently traced along her jaw with his right hand and she purred at his touch.

Sleep was making it hard to enjoy the moment, but Elise was trying her best to stay awake.

"Hey, El?"

"Yes, baby?"

"I adore you. You know that right?"

"Mmm, I do. Thank you baby."

"Baby?"

"Hmm?"

"G'night."

"G'night, El."

-----

Both Brian and Elise enjoyed the other's company for days that turned into weeks. And right as it hit a month, Elise knew that she was definitely falling in love with Brian. Brian felt the same, but was taking his time with her. With how she treated relationships in general, he was treading as lightly as possible. Elise on her part was loving every second of every moment that she had with her lover. She loved the fact that he didn't pressure her for anything and loved that he didn't even bring it up. But she was worried about the fact that they hadn't gotten past the kissing and groping stage.

But what she didn't know was that he'd planned something special. It was a Thursday, and Brian had made sure that their schedules had coincided. Tonight after she finished her classes and after he got home, they had no plans, no obligations; they were free 'til Monday. He planned to cook some dinner and make it as romantic as possible. To hopefully seal the deal. He'd wanted to take his time to really get to know the real her and with the way things were going, he was well on his way to seeing himself with her for a very long time.

He went about setting his plan in motion by texting Elise, "Hey El! I get off early, so I'll go straight home. I'll be waiting for you ;)"

Give or take thirty seconds he got her reply, "Oooo sounds nice to me baby! I can't wait!"

"Alright," he thought, "All that's left is to get her favorite foods and get ready to prepare everything."

Right as it hit six, he clocked out and went straight to the supermarket and grabbed what he could to make their dinner special. Eggs, pepperoni, peppers, hot sauce, bacon, onions, and some angus patties. He also got some candles that he was sure he'd use later.

Brian got home around six forty five and since his lady friend would be coming around seven thirty, he started preparing everything. He had preemptively set the table and had already started dicing up the peppers and patties. He put the patties on the pan, mixed some onions with peppers there once it got to a nice pinkish color, put some hot sauce and let it be.

What he didn't expect was Elise had the same idea of surprising him. She'd told him she'd see him after her classes ended, but her professor let them out early and she headed straight home. Right as he was making her favorite omelettes, she opened the door and was hit by the smells of her favorite meal.

"Aww, baby! You're making dinner for us?"

Brian turned with a start and could only groan at seeing her. "Shit! I wanted to surprise you...but yeah, El. Surprise?"

"Consider me surprised!"

She brought her arms around her man and sighed contentedly. "Baby? What did I do to get you into my life? I don't deserve you!"

He had finished up their meals and put them on their respective plates. "Honestly, you do. We're great together. I love how well we get on with each other."

They'd never said it, but they both felt it. They loved each other.

"El?"

Elise had barely gotten into her seat when she saw Brian staring at her seriously. "Yeah, baby?"

With a sigh, he went to her side and got her into his arms. "I've been putting this off, because I had to be sure. I had to be sure of how I feel for you. And I feel as sure as ever. I-"

"You...??"

Brian rolled his eyes with a smirk and asked, "El, you gotta let me finish..."

She grinned and kissed his cheek. "Sorry baby, go ahead!"

"I love you."

Her eyes went wide and she stared at him in a stunned silence.

"You-you love me?"

She was still in his arms and he grinned back at her. "I've thought so for awhile now. But I'm sure of it. I love you, El."

Elise had a million thoughts running through her head, but they were all drowned out by her shrill scream.

"OH MY GOD! BRIAN!!!"

She promptly gave him kisses all over his face and he let her down slowly.

"So I take it you approve?"

"Approve? Baby, I love you too!"

He gave her a kiss that touched her very soul and she had a few tears in her eyes.

"El, let's finish dinner. I got something else planned for tonight."

With a wink, he made his way to his plate and went to scarfing his food down. She did the same and they couldn't help but keep smiling at eachother. They finished up and Brian put their plates into the sink and as he was starting the cleanup, he felt his lovely lady put her arms on his chest.

"Baby?"

"Hmm?"

"I think the dishes can wait, no? I need you..."

Brian got the hint and immediately picked her up because she loved it when he did that; and with her giggles leading the way, he brought them to her room. He'd been staying there ever since their first night and he had placed the candles he'd bought at the store and she was surprised to see them.

"Oh, baby! This is so nice!"

Elise was surprised and could feel the tingle between her legs. It had been long enough and she was ready to consummate her love with her lover. They'd come close many times, but they'd both wanted to wait. To really make the wait worth it. And she was ready to let Brian feel that this moment was worth it.

Brian stood next to her and she looked into his eyes with love. He smiled and she smiled back. Elise brought herself up and kissed him. Their contact intensified and she started grabbing at his shirt. She almost ripped it off him and he started unbuttoning hers. As soon as he got the last button off, she threw it on the floor and was unbuckling his belt and making short work of his pants.
