This is a short compelling story that rings true so often. Humans can be so mentally sick sometimes and get very ugly with those around them.

I wasn’t expecting to come across this sort of story , but I don’t know if I am glad I did , I read this a week back and can’t stop thinking .

If he actually did kill Evie wouldn't he have been in jail for abuse? Unless it was by neglect. It's unfortunate that it took Evie's death to set her mother free.
