Am enjoying this as it is something different and is well written.
another 5 plus star chapter enjoyed it very much and looking forward to the next one
and your choice in both the battles of the war, and in description bring so much to the story, i hope bizzet and wildgirl come to be more of the story, i cannot wonder though, do you have a ancestor who fought in those hellish conditions who's story has come down through family history. or is it just great research
I particularly liked how you moved the story along at a good clip without losing the tone and thread of it.
Nice Work!
Can't wait to read the next chapter
Interesting how weres can go so wild and yet have enough human instinct to leave an infant where it will be best cared for.
As always, you amaze me with your writing skills. Your ability to make the reader feel as if they were right there experiencing it with the characters. thanks for sharing your astounding talent with us. hugs, Kate
miss this when it posted. Now that the war is over Brian and Nat have been quite busy, 5 natural children and 1 adopted. I wonder what will happen next and hope that Bizzet isn't involved in anything bad. Deep down he's really good otherwise he wouldn't care about his child.
I'll be keeping my out for the next chapter, I don't want to fall behind again.
Had to quit reading a couple of times when they were coming home from WWI. Well enough written that I went back to '65 coming home from Viet Nam. Trying to be what family could accept required me to stuff a lot of my emotions and to start living a lie. Poor bastards would/could never be "okay" again. lyn
Another great chapter to this story. Reading this made me feel I was almost there with them, sharing the fear and terror of the war. The home coming for all the men was almost overwhelming. Having a close community had to have helped them some.
