You said you wanted to appeal to male (and some female) fantasies - and while this story had about as much to do with historical reality as does the average time travel piece - what the hell! It was a titillating, non challenging stroke piece without pretensions to anything else

All in all a good read. It's easy to think a Victorian-era

woman would be prudish about sex, but that was a middle-class hang-up. I think you enumerated her choices pretty well. Anyhow, I'd love to see you develop this story!

Very nicely done. I so enjoyed the conversations and the little tidbits to spice the time and culture. I think a lot of women in those time weren't so much prudish as ignorant.
