I really did enjoy, however, the scouser vernacular employed to comic effect by the author. The story would have benefited in terms of being a complete effort with a parallel coming of age subplot for Chris. Yet the crucial carnal scenes were hot , had undeniable sweetness and underlying humor. Very sympathetic characters were created. I blame the author's skill for making me wish they did more away from bedroom.
