Loved every word of the story. Nothing like a man of few words, tough as nails and who has a lovely woman on his arm and in his bed.
I have to admit that this guy is a bit on the scary side. His threat to step over the line only was ameliorated by the fact that he gave the guy a chance to straighten out. Some family members would feel that the account was all ready paid;;;;
Really enjoy when a "local boy" entertains me. Makes me proud.
Very good. Just one little point.In the first story. Abbys Dad was dead.The reason she was where she was. But low and behold in the second story he came back to life.
these 'cold steele' stories could make for a good movie or two, and or a good tv show
best i have read so far here...
thanks for entertaining reads!!
We NEED more of this guy and his lady -
Well conceived and done stories -
Thanks
Yikes! What a story. I was so engrossed that I was late for a golf game (had to catch up on third hole). This was like reading a good paperback. I didn't want it to end. I hope there are more Steele stories. Can't believe I found it on this site. Thank You for a very good story.
you are now without a doubt my favorite author.

I have fallen in love with Matt Steele, please take him on more adventures...I like your westerns too, but I have fallen head over heels with Matt Steele...
flaws included. Mattie is a new favorite.
Thanks for sharing him with us.

I went thru the complete series and found it to be a really enjoyable read. this is one of those you don't want to end! Keep giving us the good stuff! Thanks, Rick
You sir are Missed, by many folks who are your fans. Yup me too. Like them; wish you were still here to entertain us with your stories... Don't know what your doing, or if your even around anymore. Though I hope nothing bad has happened to you... Anyway, thanks, thanks for the time you took out of Your life,. To entertain complete strangers . Even the ingrates.. thanks again. And best wishes to you
Oh yeah, that’d be a great way to live. Constantly looking over your shoulder to see if Sasquatch is coming for you. Another great one, Woodman, thanks very much for sharing.
Five stars.
