A good read with some well crafted scenes.

Thank you for your kind words. My author/sign name is actually a reference to David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. It's a particularly powerful scene in the novel where Rosa Dartle, a spinster, is calling out the dead Steerforth's faults..."'Do you remember when he did this?' she proceeded. 'Do you remember when, in his inheritance of your nature, and in your pampering of his pride and passion, he did this, and disfigured me for life? Look at me, marked until I die with his high displeasure; and moan and groan for what you made him!'"

I find it to be an excellent example of the fact that even beautiful characters have dark sides. The eloquence of the phrasing is just so acute I can't help myself. Also, I'm an English PhD student, so that may have something to do with it. Thank you for being a interested reader!

I love stories that have some type of tear in them. People just don't seem to realize that not all things will be perfect and you can't live a happily ever after. Hope a new demon beau will try to seduce Jordan while she's in her weakened state lol. Anyway great story hope you post a new chap real soon!
