I hope there is more. Sometimes one does top from the bottom and not realize they are doing it. I am not certain but I suspect she could safeword and get released, but he does want the control she thinks she has given him. If she gives him control he will free her when he is ready. I don't see him as having abandoned her because he was there. The fact that she was not aware was another lesson she is to learn. Just my thoughts, but if there is more you can certainly clear up my thoughts for me but that again may be topping from the bottom kind of.
