Paul had recognized Bambi- he called her Diane and asked if she was coming back to work- and Bambi had called Paul by name. So Bambi was connected with Tyger somehow...but how? She had flattened Paul with a solid kick to the balls and smuggled me out the back door...that part didn't fit. I needed more answers. I felt like I was trying to row with one oar.
My ass was burning and I could feel a major league headache coming on. Bambi had an agenda but I didn't know what it was. My trip to Darkview to investigate Tyger was a failure. I had gotten tattooed and pierced, nearly captured by my rival's minions and betrayed by Marty. And I was slowly turning into a bimbo. Every hand was turned against me.

The fact that the heroine is getting more trouble is very exiting!
