Again, this chapter doesn't seem to follow from the previous one. Yes, Alanna had done things like this before but not since she's been traveling with Talos, and certainly not since she's been in love with him. If you're going to have her break character like this then you can foreshadow it by having her think about missing the way she used to play with men's minds.

Jealousy is eating you up, so accepting the inevitable is a way to find some inner peace ...... But such happenings may not healthy for a group of 3 ...... So the mindgames and mindsettings are gambling
