"Move north to 42nd street then northwest to the New York Public Library. Go to the basement at the southwest corner and you should locate the portal there. The password is Alte Treckor."

"Okay," Elilah sounded somewhat bored and disrespectful, "we'll grab a bite to eat and get there."

"No," the mummy corrected her, "You will come immediately, or consider yourself the next thing Liege Lord Armand puts a bounty on."

"Fine, fine -- we are on our way," Elilah muttered before the crystal darkened.

"Now you have a portal," she looked to Ames, "and a reason to not take Camille on a suicidal mission. We need to get this message to your Commander and so will take Camille to safety."

"I'm already on it," Camille grimaced. "Raithe wants all teams to return to base."

As they turned the site over to the normal FBI and NYPD, Ames noted Camille was wearing a sleepy smile. Was she relieved the encounter was over, or slipping off into the delirium which eventually gripped every FBI psychic. He prayed it was the former because he had a really bad premonition things were about to get a whole lot worse.

It's not just incomplete it's horribly incomplete when you post a story knowing your literally going to stop posting only a 3rd of the way into the story it's tantamount to pissing in someone's cornflakes!

Yes, it’s incomplete

It’s a GREAT shame that this story, and others, are incomplete. And that is a great tragedy to many readers. Even then it’s one of the most interesting on this site (as noted by the HIGH rating). The authors on this site are kind enough to share their efforts with the rest of us. It’s a GIFT.

If YOU can write a better story, or even a average story, go ahead. THEN you “might” have reason to complain. Until then, SIT down and SHUT up.

You accept a GIFT and then complain? That is just poor manners and you should leave.

Unto FinalStand. My humble thanks for sharing your skills and imagination with those of us who cannot craft such works. PLEASE take care of your Health and Family. Your sharing is much appreciated by many. I offer you Blessings and Well Wishes.

I can’t imagine the effort or strain spinning such yarns as you have shared!

Be well, love well, and prosper.

Psst, I learned what a “folly” is due to this story. Neat
