I'm reading your stories and they're quite good. You have a handle on your characters' inner emotions and can describe to us what they are feeling without saying it plainly. So they are involving looks into lives different than our everydays.

I am wondering if it is art or merely arty. It seems self-conscious, as if you are taking pride in your cleverness. Maybe if I were a more sophisticated critic I could tell the difference.
