I enjoyed the story and smiled through most of it. I think your story needs a longer finish like the next chapters starting off a year down the road, they are married etc......

One of the best stories have read on this site or elsewhere. Writing is superb. A sequel would be so welcome as they bring their worlds together with Ivy becoming lady of the manor — such possibilities. Many bravos.

I confess I feel somewhat shortchanged by the ending, it’s not a“Happy Ever After” it’s a “Happy Shortly After”. You’ve put a lot into this series, so I’d have liked to have seen her transition into living in the “Big House”, I get the feeling you didn’t know how to change her into a prospective “Lady Ivy” along with the increase in Self Confidence that might well be required for life spent in Lord Richard’s world of titled asses and talented architects. I’ll hope for an epilogue…
