I agree with others, that wife sharing is not my cup of tea, but this was very well written so four stars.

You could have described Sandy's "excursions" on the cruise. As she was with her mother, I had assumed she did not cheat on Carl. But he seemed so relaxed about his affair that he might be assuming she cheated as well. You could have helped us just that little bit more. Thanks for your writing.
