Thanks!

For continuing this intriguing story. I have been hoping you would coninue to write. I do hope you will clarify some of characters actions (1)Dominic - not clear why he is interested in Ellen - He definitely has an affinity towards males (2) Ron's role - he is a weak male - though it did risk his life to try to get Ellen back - by the way did Rosseau kill him? (3) Rosseau(sp?) why did he not mate in 40yrs - for an alpha male he was definitely not confident in his sexual encounter with Ellen (4) Why was it painful for her to have intercourse with Rosseau and why is she interested in what seems to be any male. If you have answered some of these questions in the story, please let me know which chapters I need to reread. But believe it, I am interested in reading more. Thanks.

I'm enjoying the story too, but also confused

The person who commented just before me asked many of my questions as well. In the early chapters, I thought that Dominic lusted after Ellen. Now it seems that he prefers guys, so what he really wanted her for was to breed and propagate. Still, he seems to care something for her, maybe some affection? Or just wanting not to burn any bridges?

As to Rousseau, it sounds like he knew of Ron's taking Ellen, and in fact thought he would be a good first mate for her, for some reason. Ron's character is the one that I think was written most confusingly. First, he's a cuckold. Ellen says he hasn't been having sex with her. Then in a later chapter, it is revealed that he's drugging her and raping her in her sleep (? why? she wants to have sex with him in the early chapters). And then it sounds like he's been mistreating her for some time, yet Rousseau never checks on her? To me, that doesn't seem to add up.

Ellen just wants to have sexual satisfaction. At least, that's the best way I can understand her as written. Often, she seems to be moving around in a daze. Is this because she's in heat? Is there any involvement of the heart, or will that come in time, or not at all? Rousseau wants their first time to be pleasant for her. It sounds like it was, but the description of the lovemaking also had me somewhat confused. I couldn't tell if Ellen was enjoying it, or just felt very full.

You have a fascinating story here, but some of the plot lines are a bit confusing. It's hard to know who to trust, if anyone. But you have me hooked until the end, because I want to know what happens.
