Some of the best writing I've seen on this site. Really liked how you described Ellen's deepest desires and how she finally let herself go. The relationship between Ellen and Elf seemed real and convincing. I hope you have more stories as good as this lined up to show to us readers. Bravo!

Characters are well-drawn here. And to the author, ignore the posted quibble. Is everyone in the states FROM the place they are working (referring to the other comment), land of immigrants and all that? And are you all Yanks from birth? Hardly. Looking forward to ch 2.
