I don't understand how James can say he loves Emma, he is horribly selfish and seems to care nothing for her as a person. It is also quite creepy that Emma seems to have no thoughts, opinions or will of her own. She is not coming across as a consenting adult, but rather some sort of thing to be abused. I think this is probably the point where I stop reading.
This story is fantastic! To the earlier reader who complained that Emma has no thoughts or feelings of her own - well isn't that something of the point? Not that she has none, but that she is being trained to suppress them. . . Of course if it's not your cup of tea, you should by all means set down the story. I, however, will keep reading. . . because this story is incredibly erotic. I love James' cavalier yet incredibly rough style of dominating Emma, and Emma's stoic yet girlish submission to his whims:)
