Unfortunately, I agree with the previous comment. I never really liked Jessie. Not sure if you're done with this story, if not, I'm interested in where it could possibly go.

Jessie and Lauren finally make love in a way that leaves both women happy and fulfilled. Just a bit of self-doubt remaining with Lauren not wanting to tell Jessie how she really feels and worrying about "unknowns in Jessie." However, hopefully in time thsse small remaining fears will dissipate as the relationship progresses. Their empathic bond will take care of everything else.

Regarding the others' comments about Harper and Lauren - it was said in one of the previous chapters that Lauren realized that she and Harper could probably never be more than friends. However, there are loose ends to be tied up after Lauren, so wrapped up with Jessie, seems to forget Harper exists. As Lauren grows further as a human being, she and Harper hopefully can resume their friendship. Maybe a new story can trace this development.
