Yes, it was difficult for Maria. I'm trying to write real characters, and understand how a real person might react in these circumstances.

The best part of this story for me probably came in the transformation we see in Shuko. A lot of people read stories to identify with the characters involved, regardless of the genre, and ypur efforts to highlight the emotional struggles as well as personal transformarions certainly pays off. Keep up the good work. I'd like to learn more about the boys, as Jeff and especially Henry continue to remain as enigmatic as ever.

I am disappointed that Marie went CRAZY on Henry after her actions on Matt being so CRAPPY.

I do like Matt and Shuko together. Maybe the best.
