Well written I guess and didn't notice many errors but just couldn't even begin to like the story. No remotely likeable characters and the whole story just felt unpleasant to read due to the subject material. Not for me really but I'm sure people may disagree

Not all stories need to have a happy ending. I really enjoyed this one from beginning to end, and plan to read more of your work.

the story was really depressing, I didn't like the story much as I knew a couple at ages 45 who both died from drinking and left 3 kids behind. I gave it 2 stars

Well, now I'm depressed. But that's okay. Your story was well-written and definitely had the feel of "Post Office" by Bukowski. You captured the skid row hopelessness beautifully. I found myself rooting for him even when I knew it wasn't going to end well. Nicely done and keep up the good work.

It started slow. There was too much dialogue. Far too much drinking. Finally it got great between the man & his Daughter (A position every many dreams of, or atleast with a sexy slut 25 years younger), then YOU END THE RELATIONSHIP! What a terrible terrible waste!-EATANDBEMERRY

Fantastic. Beautiful story. I don't know what the fascination is with happy endings, as outlined in a couple of comments, but I can say I'm head over heels in love with the dad. Nothing better than a down on his luck, and knows it, kinda guy with a great cock. All amazing characters, and all befitting endings.

Well......this was dark. Oh well, still a nice story.
