I enjoyed this story. I usually prefer a little more backstory and the woman in your tale was a little faceless. To have known a bit more about her would, in my opinion, have heated the tale up a little. However, you description of the action held my attention and it made a refreshing change to read a vampire story which did not follow the old cliched route. Well done!
