At the start the author says can read this story without reading prior - but NEVER introduces Victor or Frank! Then if look at Authors story list - it is not obvious which story does introduce them. From the beginning the reader is left to guess who is who. Then often the same phrase is repeated over and over. Eventually it becomes too much effort to continue reading.

Obviously there is a prior story as the characters are NEVER introduced - not even a litte. Who are these people - up to the reader to determine who is the husband, who is the friend and who is Frank? For me totally detracted from the story and made it a total mystery. Shame not even one sentence to introduce who is who. See other comments saying the same thing.
