I was lucky enough to read your first series after it had been posted in full. You are a delightfully talented writer. It's lovely to pick up Rick & Karen's story from well before Asch first appeared on the island, to chip away at Octavia's iciness.

By the way, I should have made this connection when you first mentioned the Great Barrier Reef in the first series, but it just dawned on me that this beautiful island is part of Australia!

I will follow the rest of the with loyal interest. Very nice tutorial on Maori culture, too.

I just realized that all three of us who have commented have used the word nice to describe your new series. That must sound like damning with faint praise. Not my intention in the least. This is of a high caliber well deserving the "5" I've given it.
