When you base your story around something like a mechanic, at least have some knowledge as to what is realistic. You don't just replace an engine in a couple of hours. And a new engine is going to run in the thousands. Most have to be ordered, people do not have replacement engines lying around. Sorry, but when part of the story is so far fetched, it makes the whole thing bad.
