Personally I think the reviews show an overreaction. It's fiction, a short story, and the author can write about a character who hates any group if he wants. Save the prosecution of hate crimes for people who actually commit them in real life, they deserve to get whatever punishment comes their way. But this is creative writing, and the abusive comments coming the author's way sound like restriction of freedom of speech more than anything else. Wow, talk about being over sensitive. Hello, i like many of your stories and enjoyed most of them very much, but i must say that i disliked this story. Not because of bad writing style or something like that, just because it's inaccurate and instigating political message.

In my opinion it does not help the erotic and also not the understanding between people around the world. As a half french/half german young woman myself, with many victims on both sides in my own family, i must say that the story even upsets me somehow. I have relatives of all colours and religion beliefs in my family, onto 3 continents. Iv'e been to about 17 countries (not as tourist) so far (hey and i am only 20 yet^^) and must say that the germans that i've met were not better or worst than anyone else i met around the world. It just don't draws and accurate picture of Germany.

I read and liked most of your stories, but glorifying racism in which ever direction is not something I can see in any positive light. Preaching hate does not make the world any safer or better, but only darker and colder. I think the condemnation of racism is worthwhile. Respect and tolerance are so much more constructive and helpful than hate.

I would not blame any victim for being weak enough to take revenge on their tormentor if given the chance. I say weak because I believe that once its done the avengers life will be changed by it. But on the tormentor's kids, grandkids? Or the grandkids of that person's countrymen? Even more removed, its not the victim, but the victim's descendants. Where do you draw the line between revenge and baseless hate that just keeps an pointless conflict going? First on the level of how the story was written this was pretty good. It was sexually hot and that's primarily what this site is about. Yet as has been pointed out by quite a few other commentators there are a few historical discrepencies and other mistakes. I believe that these errors should be taken into account when writing a story that partially or fully structures itself on these facts.

Second, with regards to the comments there are plenty of mistakes as well, how unusual. These mostly non writers will flail away with just about anything in a comment. For instance I don't think this was a racist story in that you state you are of German dissent yourself just a different religion. Yet it is quite bigoted though and if you want to write that here well that's your decision.
