My wife passed 6 years ago...35 years ago, while she and I were having some problems, I met an old friend from years before, and we shared great loving for about 4 months, then we both ended up back with our spouses...her husband passed away 2 and 1/2 years go...we are now back together as if no time had passed...I read this story with a huge grin on my face and great warmth in my heart...erotica is good, love is better.

A very moving story, particularly for those might we say getting on in life, who remember fondly previous partners, who lose a partner. We like to think that there is more after a loss and this is so well exemplified in the story.

I guess this story was well written, I didn’t notice any glaring issues with grammar, spelling, punctuation, or structure. I just didn’t like it. Purely selfish reasons, I suppose. I guess it’s a personal predilection, but when I read Romance stories I don’t like long, drawn-out graphic sex scenes. For me they are a major distraction from the story. I mean, if I want to read hard-core sex stories I’d go to the erotic section. Like I said, it’s just a personal quirk of mine but that said, I still didn’t like this story.

I am about the age of the male character and have been married for about 45 years to the same woman and neither of us have cheated in all that time. Every few years I coincidentally run into a girlfriend from my late teens or early 20’s. If I was left broken hearted by the loss of my wife it would be nice to reconnect with one of them
