"Yeah, bye." He looked back down at her and dismissed her with one glance. "Feel better."

Before she knew what she was doing, her hand had fastened around her drink and it was flying toward his back. Unfortunately, he was too fast and her aim wasn't good sober. It shattered harmlessly on the floor.
"What is your problem?" Jesse continued to try to get an answer from Joanne.
"Assholes! Asshole!"
"Jo, please. Of all the times for you to start swearin'..."
"Fucking asshole ruins my life and he doesn't care!"
"He ruined your life? No. He's nobody. We'll take care of him, won't we, baby?"
"Yeah! Next time I see him, I won't be drunk, and I'll tell him to fuck off!"
"You don't have to see him ever again. We'll take care of it. Just you wait and see."
