I'd read your question about "female public autoarousal" in the forums, and as intriguing as the question itself seemed to be, I was curious how you'd use the information. Beyond expectation, you took the ideas and wove them into something engagingly and richly humanistic. There's so much more going on than what's on the surface, and you present these layers at crucial moments when the reader could easily become detached from three-dimensional and emotional beings to simply characters on a page. When Eric finally goes to Claire at the end of the story, we're left with much more than just the eroticism of the moment; the culmination of their overall relationship, this particular struggle, and the depth of emotion that engulfs them both caries the story forward. Within those moments, the layers converge to present warm human beings rather than simply objectified sexual characters.
